Pancakes made by Emily Nikzat

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/3 cup warmish milk (user 1 1/4 cup to make them thicker)

Steps:

  1. Sift together all of the dry ingredients
  2. Melt the butter, then set aside
  3. Heat milk in the microwave so it doesn’t harden your butter when you mix them all. Dump the milk and butter in the bowl, and then add the egg
  4. Whisk until smooth, then cook like you would any other pancake.

Lemon Drop

The perfect sweet and tart drink for any summer evening in the sunset.

Ingredients:

2 oz Vodka
.5 oz Triple sec
1 oz Simple syrup
1 oz Fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Coat the rim of a cocktail glass with sugar and set aside. Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into prepared glass and garnish with lemon or lemon peel. If you are looking for a little extra flavor use a prepared raspberry simple syrup or more unique rosemary simple syrup instead of simple syrup.
